L.A. Tribal is the Los Angeles bellydance troupe of Tanda Neelam, performing American Tribal Style bellydance (commonly known as ATS). It is a modern style created in San Francisco, California, by FatChanceBellyDance (FCBD) director, Carolena Nericcio.

Tanda Neelam is the ATS bellydance duo of Laurie (los angeles) and devora (chicago). Tanda are nomadic settlements in India, usually named after places, which have a unique culture and dance form. Neelam is a blue gem--if worn as a talisman, it gives protection from evil spirits.
